Health and Safety Coronavirus Update

HiReach Training will monitor information from the Federal and State Government and continue to update this page with our response to the COVOD-19 pandemic

HiReach Training is open and training courses are available in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast 

 

The health and safety of our staff and students is of utmost importance, so we have implemented a range of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, in line with current Queensland Government guidelines including:

Wearing masks 

  • Masks are to be worn at all times during training

Promoting good hygiene and awareness 

  • staff awareness training on COVID-19

  • checking students have not travelled, been in contact with someone who has tested positive, and are feeling well before they attend training

  • placing hygiene signs in training rooms and bathrooms

Clean and hygienic training areas

  • all desks and tables disinfected daily

  • all counters and handles in student kitchen disinfected daily

  • plant and machinery controls disinfected daily

  • sanitiser to be used by all students at student registration area

  • sanitiser and tissues available in classrooms (where supplies allow)

  • sign in taken verbally and completed online by trainer (no sign in sheets)

  • classroom doors will be left open

  • bring your own pen, coffee cup, water bottle, sanitiser (if you have it)

Social distancing

  • ensuring staff and customers observe physical distancing

  • using our larger classrooms with a maximum class size of 8 people 

  • establishing an open air classroom 

  • spacing desks apart - allowing for1 person per 4 square metres

  • practical instruction 1-on-1 with the trainer at least 1 person per 2m2

Please do not attend training and call to reschedule if:

  • you have tested positive for COVID-19 - we can reschedule your training when you have been given medical clearance

  • you have travelled overseas within the last 14 days

  • you have been in any identified hot spot within the last 14 days

  • you have been advised to quarantine

  • you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 14 days

  • you have been in contact with someone who has been directed to self-quarantine within the last 14 days

  • you are feeling unwell
